Every time I hear someone say, "Follow your passion," I'm reminded of Walter Isaacson's keynote speech from my niece's graduation. He said, "No one cares about your silly passion. How does your passion serve others?"

We get too caught up in our "me first" culture that we forget to circulate what we receive. In other words, if we're always consuming, someone is lacking.
