This is true, but to be honest, I would never hire him as a life coach. The audiences he attracts — those who are critical of sleazy marketing schemes — wouldn’t use him as an expert on science or marketing. Of course, that might just be me. I see him as a good entertainer, poking fun of the ridiculous schemes people cook up to try to persuade others. When it comes to the science of persuasion, it’s a lot more complex.
